To publish and manage an iOS app on the Apple App Store, you need an Apple Developer Account. This account allows you to distribute apps, access beta testing tools, use Apple’s app analytics, and manage updates. Follow the steps below to set up your Apple Developer Account.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Click on Enroll at the top right corner and sign in with your Apple ID.

  2. Choose an Account Type:

Individual Account: Select Individual if you are registering as an individual developer. Your name will appear as the app’s seller on the App Store.

Organization Account: If you are registering on behalf of a business or organization, select Organization. Organization accounts require a D-U-N-S

Number, which is used to verify your business. Check more about D-U-N-S number here: How to Obtain a D-U-N-S® Number for Your Busines

  3. Carefully read the agreement, then check the box to indicate that you accept the term and click Continue to proceed

  4. Enter your name, phone number, and address. (For Organization accounts, you’ll be asked for additional information, including your business’s legal name and entity type.)

  5. After providing the required information, Apple will prompt you to pay the $99 USD annual membership fee.

Once the payment is processed, your enrollment will be reviewed by Apple, which can take up to 48 hours.

Only Organization accounts allow you to invite additional users to your Apple Developer Account, which is necessary if you plan to invite BeyondCart to manage your app.

The Apple Developer Program requires an annual payment of $99 USD. This fee renews automatically each year unless canceled.

Apple may take up to 48 hours to approve your Developer Account after payment. Once approved, you’ll receive an email notification.

Next Steps

Once your Apple Developer Account is set up, you can proceed with inviting BeyondCart to your Apple Developer Account so our team can assist with app publishing and management.

By following these steps, you’ll be able to create your Apple Developer Account and start the process of publishing your app on the Apple App Store. This account is essential for managing your app’s distribution, performance, and updates on iOS devices.
