Adding a test user in BeyondCart allows you to preview campaigns, push notifications, and other user-targeted functionalities before sending them to your entire audience. This ensures that your messages, visuals, and links are properly configured and display as expected.
Step-by-Step Guide
In the BeyondCart dashboard, go to CRM and select Campaigns from the sidebar.
Click on Test Users at the top of the Campaigns page. This will open the Test Users management page, where you can view and add test users.
On the Test Users page, select the Add Test User button to open the Add Test User form.
In the Add Test User form, you’ll need to provide specific information to create the test user:
Player ID (Required): Enter a unique Player ID associated with the test user. This identifier is essential for targeting the test user with push notifications and campaigns.
Phone Number (Optional): Input a phone number if you want to test SMS notifications or if you have phone-based targeting set up.
Email (Optional): Enter an email address for the test user. This can be useful for testing email-based campaigns or identifying the user in your system.
Once you’ve filled out the required and optional fields, click Save to add the test user to the system.
The newly added test user will now appear in the list on the Test Users page, and you can edit or remove them as needed.
