Overview

BeyondCart records every game play, so you can track engagement, review prize distribution, and understand how gamification impacts your store. The Game History section gives you a detailed log of all plays, while statistics help you measure performance at a glance.

Viewing Game History

  1. In your admin panel, navigate to Gamification > History.

  2. You'll see a list of all game plays across all game types.

Each entry in the history log includes:

  • Customer — The name or identifier of the player (or "Guest" for anonymous plays).

  • Game — The name and type of the game played.

  • Result — The prize won or "No Prize."

  • Date & Time — When the play occurred.

  • Credits Used — Typically 1 per play.

Filtering History

Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow your results:

  • Game Type — Filter by Wheel of Fortune, Scratch Card, or Mystery Box.

  • Date Range — View plays within a specific time period.

  • Result — Show only wins, only losses, or all plays.

  • Customer — Search for a specific customer's play history.

Understanding Statistics

Navigate to Gamification > Statistics for an aggregated view of your game performance.

Metrics Available

  • Total Plays — The total number of game plays across all games.

  • Unique Players — How many distinct customers have played.

  • Prize Distribution — A breakdown of which prizes were awarded and how often.

  • Win Rate — The percentage of plays that resulted in a prize.

  • Credits Remaining — How many unspent credits are still in circulation.

  • Plays by Game Type — Compare engagement across Wheel, Scratch Card, and Mystery Box.

Analyzing Prize Distribution

The prize distribution breakdown shows you:

  • Prize Label — The name of each prize tier.

  • Times Awarded — How many times this prize was won.

  • Percentage of Total — This prize's share of all outcomes.

This helps you verify that actual distribution aligns with your configured probabilities.

Tips

  • Review history weekly to spot trends in engagement.

  • If one prize is awarded significantly more or less than expected, check your probability settings.

  • Export history data for deeper analysis in a spreadsheet.

  • Use statistics to justify expanding or pausing gamification campaigns to stakeholders.

FAQ

How far back does history go? Game history is retained for as long as your account is active. There is no automatic purge.

Can I export the history data? Yes. Use the Export button on the history page to download a CSV file.

Do test mode plays appear in history? Yes, but they are marked with a "Test" badge so you can distinguish them from real plays.

Are guest plays tracked? Yes. Guest plays are logged with a "Guest" identifier. If the guest later creates an account, the plays are not retroactively linked.
