Overview
Recharge is one of the leading subscription management platforms for Shopify stores. This integration lets your BeyondCart mobile app sell subscription products and gives subscribers a place to manage their own subscriptions — skipping deliveries, changing the next charge date, updating shipping addresses, or cancelling — without leaving the app.
Use cases and benefits

Prerequisites
A Recharge plan that includes API access (Pro plan or higher at the time of writing — confirm with Recharge's pricing page).
Your Shopify store already connected to Recharge.
Admin access to your BeyondCart dashboard.
Setup instructions
1. Create an API token in Recharge
Open your Recharge dashboard and click Tools & apps.
From the dropdown choose API tokens.
Click Create an API token.
Give the token a nickname (e.g., "BeyondCart Mobile") and a contact email.
Enable the permissions the BeyondCart mobile app needs:
Customers — read & write
Subscriptions — read & write
Orders — read
Addresses — read & write
Granting all permissions also works if you prefer the simpler path. Agree to the terms of use and click Save. Copy the token — you will paste it into BeyondCart in the next step.
Keep the token private. Anyone with this token can read and modify your subscription data. Paste it directly into BeyondCart — never share it in email, chat, or screenshots.
2. Paste the token into BeyondCart
Open your BeyondCart admin dashboard.
Click on Settings.
Open the Show/Remove tab.
Scroll down to the Integrations block.
Check the box next to Recharge Subscriptions and paste the API token you copied from Recharge.
Click Save.
What customers see in the app
Once the integration is active:
On the product page — for any product configured as a subscription in Recharge, customers see one-time and subscription purchase options with the correct pricing and billing frequency.
In the account area — subscribers can view their active subscriptions, see the next charge date, skip or reschedule a delivery, update the shipping address, and cancel or reactivate a subscription. All of these actions go straight to Recharge — no support ticket needed.
Tips and best practices
Test with a real subscription product. Place a small subscription order from your own account and walk through skipping, rescheduling, and cancelling to confirm everything looks right.
Match Recharge billing settings to your customer expectations. The app surfaces Recharge's rules verbatim — if you allow weekly skips, the customer sees that option.
Rotate the token if your team changes. Treat the API token like a password. If a team member with Recharge admin access leaves, regenerate the token in Recharge and paste the new one into BeyondCart.
Troubleshooting
Subscription options don't show on the product page. Confirm the product is configured as a subscription in Recharge and that you've checked the Recharge Subscriptions box in BeyondCart settings. If it's still missing, double-check the token has Subscriptions read/write permission.
The customer sees "no active subscriptions" but they have one. Make sure the customer's email in your app matches the email on file in Recharge. Subscriptions are looked up by email.
"Unauthorized" errors after rotating the token. Paste the new token into BeyondCart Settings → Show/Remove → Integrations → Recharge Subscriptions and click Save. The old token stops working as soon as it's revoked in Recharge.
