Module: Pages Audience: Store admins Last updated: March 2026
Overview
This guide walks you through creating a new landing page from scratch—setting its name and URL slug, adding components with the template builder, and saving your work.
Step-by-Step
Starting a New Page
Open the Pages section from the sidebar.
Click the Create Page button.
You'll be prompted to enter two things:
Name: An internal label for the page (e.g., "Summer Sale 2026"). This is only visible to your team.
URL Slug: A unique identifier used in deep links (e.g.,
summer-sale-2026). Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only.
Click Create to open the template builder.

Building the Page Content
The template builder opens with a blank canvas. Add components by dragging them from the component panel onto the page:
Browse available components in the left panel.
Drag a component onto the canvas where you want it.
Click the component to select it and configure its settings in the inspector panel.
Repeat until your page is complete.
Available components include all the same building blocks used in the rest of BeyondCart's template builder—banners, product grids, text blocks, images, videos, buttons, spacers, and more.

Configuring a Component
Click any component on the canvas to select it.
The inspector panel on the right shows that component's settings.
Adjust content, sizing, colors, spacing, and behavior as needed.
The canvas updates in real time.
Each component type has its own settings. For example, a product grid lets you choose which collection to display, while a banner lets you set an image and overlay text.
Reordering Components
Drag components up or down on the canvas to change their order. The page renders top to bottom, so the first component appears at the top of the page.
Removing a Component
Click the component to select it.
Click the Delete button in the inspector panel or press the Delete key.
The component is removed from the canvas.
Saving Your Page
Click Save in the toolbar to save your progress. You can return to the page at any time from the Pages list to continue editing.

Tips
Plan your page layout on paper or in a quick sketch before building—it speeds up the process.
Use the URL slug in your deep links right away:
beyondcart://page/your-slug.Save frequently. The template builder stores drafts, but regular saves prevent any loss.
Keep the page focused on a single purpose—one promotion, one story, one call to action.
FAQ
Can I change the URL slug after creating the page? Yes, but any existing deep links using the old slug will break. Update your campaigns and navigation items if you change it.
What components are available? All components from BeyondCart's template builder library. The exact list depends on your plan and any custom components configured for your app.
Can I preview the page on a real device? Use the phone preview in the template builder for a close approximation. For a real device preview, use your app's preview or staging mode.
