Overview

The Product Details page gives you an in-depth, read-only view of a single product synced from your Shopify store. Beyond basic product information, you'll find variant details and analytics that show how customers interact with this product in the BeyondCart mobile app.

Accessing Product Details

  1. Navigate to Data > Products.

  2. Click on any product in the list to open its detail page.

Product Information

The top section displays core product data synced from Shopify:

  • Product Title — The name of the product.

  • Description — The full product description.

  • Product Type — The category assigned in Shopify.

  • Vendor — The product vendor or brand.

  • Status — Active, Draft, or Archived.

  • Tags — All tags associated with the product in Shopify.

  • Images — A gallery of all product images.

Variants

Below the product information, you'll find a list of all variants:

  • Variant Title — The specific option combination (e.g., "Large / Blue").

  • SKU — The stock keeping unit identifier.

  • Price — The variant price.

  • Compare-at Price — The original price if a discount is active.

  • Inventory Quantity — Current stock level synced from Shopify.

  • Barcode — The variant barcode, if set.

Analytics

The analytics section shows how customers engage with this product through the BeyondCart mobile app:

  • Views — The total number of times this product page was viewed in the app.

  • Add-to-Carts — How many times customers added this product to their cart.

  • Wishlist Adds — The number of times this product was added to a customer's wishlist.

These metrics help you understand product popularity and identify items that attract attention but may need a conversion nudge.

Key Concepts

  • Read-Only Data — All information on this page is synced from Shopify and cannot be edited in BeyondCart.

  • App-Specific Analytics — Views, add-to-carts, and wishlist adds reflect activity within the BeyondCart mobile app only, not your Shopify web store.

  • Real-Time Sync — Product data updates automatically as changes are made in Shopify.

Tips

  • Compare views vs. add-to-carts to gauge conversion interest — a high view count with low add-to-carts may signal a pricing or imagery issue.

  • Products with high wishlist adds are great candidates for targeted push notification campaigns.

  • Use the back button to return to the products list without losing your search or pagination state.

FAQ

Why are my analytics numbers different from Shopify? BeyondCart analytics track activity within the mobile app only. Shopify analytics include web traffic, which is separate.

Can I see analytics for a specific time period? Currently, analytics show cumulative totals. Date-range filtering may be available in a future update.

What does a view count of zero mean? It means no customers have opened this product page in the BeyondCart app yet.
